I try and write a goodbye song at the end of all the FAWMs and 50/90s... this is it. I like to think of FAWM as a very intense relationship... I love every minute of FAWM (and the FAWMers), but night after night of getting 5 hours of sleep would eventually kill me, so by the end, it is a bittersweet goodbye. ha.

I have a cheap mandolin that I bought in Costa Rica many years ago... and I finally changed the strings right before FAWM and two of them broke and hit me in the eye... So I replaced the homemade aluminum tailpiece with a real one and it works much better now.

Mandolin and vocals recorded in one-take. Added harmonica. Added banjo. Added extra vocal track. Harmonica and backing vocals recorded through my tele-mic, a phone converted into a microphone.
