I try and record at least one ambient soundscape every February. I try and have no preconceived notion of what will happen when I play the first guitar track which lays the foundation and let each track dictate where the next one goes.

Once I played the first track, I added a lead guitar track. Then I recorded a guitar track that sounds like an organ. Then a sparse ebow track that makes a couple appearances. And for good measure... a theremin track that makes a couple appearances at the end. I recorded direct and then reamped everything, did a bit of panning and a couple backwards guitar tracks..
